this is a great portable cd player- i'm 29 & i love it- hello kitty's face is so bright & cheerful, the sound rocks & i've dropped it & it keeps on playing!
the sound quality is excellent, and the asp actually works, unlike a lot of the "non-toy" portable cd players.
it's easy to use, the sound quality is fantastic, and it's hello kitty, for god's sake!
i keep the cd player on my daughter's dresser and use portable speakers instead.
she walks up and down the stairs all day and also plays outside with it and it has not skipped once.
i walk a lot, for exercise..the sound quality is the best i have ever had in a walkman and it has a long battery life..light weight and has not skipped once in all of the time i have used it...
i think they're much more comfortable thanearbuds and better for when you need to be able to hear other things around you (like when walking or when you want to hear if the phone rings etc.).
the controls are easy to use.
i had a sony portable cd player years ago before it got stolen.
Comes with very rudimentary instructions.
-can't really use it in high impact exercise. the bottom line: awesome high-end portable mp3 player.
for a 150 clams, the price is just right for high capacity player that is fairly portable.
pros: good battery life, fm tuner, firmware update cons: worst ever support, plastic case brakes easily (no replacement, no repair) the bottom line: would not buy anything again at sonic
pros: plays various formats + fm radio cons: unreliable, poor song nav features, *they're lying about battery life* the bottom line: try a different brand.
i've had a portable sony cd player which i rarely used and didn't work.
sound quality is superb far better than cheaper brands.
easy operation and great sound.
i can move around freely without it interrupting the playback.
this is a neat little cd/mp3 portable player.
i'm not cheap, just thrifty,so when i saw this player had all the goodies it was go go go and as a gift for an urban biker it is perfect.
*for your information, this kind of portable was selling like "hot cakes" in the uk due to the current economic condition.
get yourself some rechargeable aa batteries, and you are all set.
my sister was missing her portable radio, but she needed a music player too that she could listen to while on the plane or in very remote area.
other than that, i would suggest you buy rechargeable batteries for non-stop listening of the music.
what's great about it:?best cd player out there long battery life "best cd walkman!
use it as background music during my work-outs with elipticle cross training exercise machine
the only was it could be better is if it would do my walking for me.
while my grown children who are very savvy in the electronics world were skeptical of my buying/using this sony walkman portable for my fast-walking exercise program, i purchased it anyway.
long battery life never skips great sound
i baught this item to use in the gym and walking.
whenever i walked, it didnt skip.
i got that blue panasonic portable mp3 cd player.
speakers are much more powerful than they look.
In all I am very pleased with the Coby CD player.
the sound quality and being able to move it around and pick up/set down without a skip is great.
this unit has just as good of a sound quality and the no skip works great.
this portable cd player was very easy to use reliable and for the money was a good buy...it helps me during my stressful times when i need a little soft music to help me relax...i am glad i bought it.
the sound quality, however, is just so-so (considerably worse than the cd player in the built-in deck).
just need to figure out how to make it handily portable; no worries, i will.
also the player uses battery power even when it isn't turned on.
easy to use, has a great big sound, great bass and no skipping, and thats a plus as i use it alot waiting at doc offices and other appointments.
my mom uses it for her daily workout routine and it works grat fro exercising.
bought this for performances and comes in handy when someone hands you their cd with mp3 tracks they made from their computer.
would be more usable with strap or some type of hangin device-clumsy to pull out of pack each time to alter playback .
don't consider it portable, because it is highly vibration sensitive and doesn't have skip protection- even setting a coffee mug on the desk it sits on can make it skip; setting it on a mouse pad
i got this because my old cd player cannot cope with electrical interference when it is playing in the cup holder on our treadmill and because the amazon photo shows easily accessible controls.
as long as i'm not jumping around while i'm walking along,i can put the unit in my jacket pocket while playing a cd and it works ok.
This is a nice cd player and works well.
i bought this cd player not only to listen to cds at home but also when i went out for a walk.
the portable cd player is fine for sitting and listening to cd's.
power consumption bad; info about ac converter/ adapter not available; controls confusing; and not worth the money especially with shipping added to price
if you're walking around your songs will skip.
Good price and works great except for the fact you can hardly read what is in LCD display.
the one big gripe i have is that when the batteries run low sometimes, it cuts itself off.
i have wanted one of these for a long time, the coby is simple and cheap but it does the job well.
portable and easy to use it arrived on time and in good shape
the sound quality is great.
i am very happy with my little red cd player although if you intend to use this product to take your morning jog i wouldn't recommend it because it has no anit-skip but it is very good for just
i'm able to walk around with the player with no skip has good clear sound.
this cd player is great when you go walking, never skips and has great sound.
the company i purchased the personal cdplayer from, coby, has good customer service as i discovered when i had to call about a technical problem in the operation of the player.
I bought this product so I could listen to CD's while in bed.
I bought this when my other player just gave up the ghost.
i find the sound quality great.
i use portables for listening to audio books while walking and this player was simply terrible - it skipped all the time even snug and safe in my tunebelt and i mostly ended up gingerly carrying it
the cd player does not come with a power cord, so using re-chargable batteries or purchasing a separate power cord are the only real options to satisfy its power requirements.
this cd player works very well...it doesn't skip and is a very simple cd player that serves my needs.
I bought this for my son -- it worked for about 10 minutes and never worked again, despite new batteries, putting it in a case, etc.
We loved the design, the pink is very pretty & the earbuds look cute.
My daughter used it (her birthday present) for one week and it stopped playing CDs.
After leaving the negative feedback below, deals of today emailed me and said they would not refund unless I remove the negative feedback warning potential customers(victims as far as I am concerned).
As the other reviewer said, this a very old standard model of cd player.
I bought this one.
I like the Player.
Pros: It saved me from buying an expensive mp3 player to install in my car.
this product is outstanding, i really like the fact that the sound quality is just right.
also, mine just uses one battery, and the battery life is great, i have had it for one week and still using the same alkaline battery.
when i bought my sony portable cd player i was so excited.
well most portable cd players made nowadays use weak amps rated around 5mw to 10mw, i dont know why but i'd guess to either lessen cost or prevent lawsuits of ppl claiming it damaged their hearing.
the 50 hour battery life of this portable cd player is only one of it's many features.
it also improved the line quality of my internet cable running from the wall.
you can run the whole thing on one battery, which means
battery rechargeable function
there's also a recharger built in for nihm batteries.
there were plugs for everything and turning on/off devices never gives any indication of surging or power fluctuation.
