This is absolutely the best CD Walkman I've ever had! It has good sound and is reliable for stopping and starting as I meet people or stop at in the middle of a CD when I finish my walk. from Amazon.com Hard-to-see controls, but i put some fine permanent marker on the top bevel to get over that. With real hifi headphones, the high-end was really missing. I found out from the fine print you have to disable the bump-protection to recover the hghest frequencies. And of course, he can't find his receipt. He has vision problems, so he was going to use it for "audio books." After logging no more than 4 hours on the machine over less than a year, the unit succumbed to the dreaded "no disc" error message.
