Needless to say, I am very thrilled over my Sony Walkman. I can listen to music while exercising and it really makes for a lot of pleasure,also the time passes faster. from Amazon.com I had for many years a very serviceable Panasonic, but without an anti-shock capability. Being tired of having to hold it in my hand while going on my walks, I "broke down" and splurged for a new one with the anti-chock feature. I found a good choice of models at my friendly electronic super-store, and eventually settled for the SONY D-EJ109. This was one and a half year ago, and this Walkman still works like the very first day I used it: very well. from Amazon.com This is the best sounding player I have ever had it doesn't get distorted or fuzzy at high volumes and the volume is very loud the level I listen to is 3 or 4 out of 10. This thing is as durable as my 11yr old SONY discman, Because it's been dropped numerous of times and still hasn't failed. The main reason why I got this model was because I read all the good reviews, and I saw the accessories for the higher priced models and thought to myself am I really going to need a remote and car attachments plus I already have those, another reason is because I have a Ipod but didn't want to bring it to school and have all my friends ruin it or get jumped so I needed to have an inexpensive Discman to listen to in school and not worry about all that drama. from Amazon.com This CD player actually plays CD-R/CD-RW discs as advertised. My old Sony Walkman was a good player, but it didn't handle my newest CD-R discs, even though it claimed to be compatible with CD-R.
