it used so much power to run the cd player that i was changing batteries every few days. from Qvc.com of all the portable stereos i have owned over the past 20 years, this was the most disappointing. from Qvc.com I'm in jail and it's perfect because I can listen to a cd or find out whats going on in the world with the AM radio. GO FLYERS from Radioshack.com Don't waste ur $$ on it. My hubby gave it to me for Xmas, I dropped it once & that was it. Now I have to use a band to hold the cover down so I can listen to my CDs on it. from Radioshack.com This is my first review of a product purchased from QVC.
