Pros: great sound, maneuverable controls, not too bulky, lasts an extremely long time, great features. I first purchased a 'Memorex' one for the price, but I had the worst time with it...needless to say I had to exchange it 2 times,after which I finally returned it. from Amazon.com After reading the many other reviews -- the ones who were complaining about the beeping noise, apparently didn't read the instructions. The sound can be disabled perminently by pressing the stop button when you put in the batteries or ac/dc adapter.

Second, the quiet noise problem can be easily adjusted by properly setting the volume from the walkman.

I have a pair of Koss "street-style behind the neck" headphones which work much better because they are so comfortable. I can't imagine a better deal.
