Best Minidisc Players for Cheap

prior to buying my md at bestbuy, i tired the iriver mp3 player and the newest rca lyra 128mb player...the iriver is operated by a joystick (so hard to navigate) and it is cheaply made!

the merits of the md -- a relatively cheap, easily tranferable/shareable format, if your friends also use it.

first of all it is cheap.

the concept is fine: the media is cheaper than an hd player, ideally you can convert mp3's, and the battery life is fantastic.

minidiscs are cheap folks, you can get them for about a buck-fifty a piece.

the battery life is very long, even for the cheap dollar general brand of batteries i use.

disc's are cheap less than a buck, and can be reused over 1 million times, i have disc's i made 11 years ago sound great, the software has even gotten better, you can delete just one song, or add

you can fit more music on cheap md's, and have multiple md's for the moods you are in.as for the software, sony finally got wise and formed an agreement with realone player to use it to download

and since i am in canada, we get the earbuds standard, not the cheap assed foam headphones, and the earbuds are very comfy.

my other recorder can record digital or analog and the md walkman will play either one back on the disk, and now with prices cheap, they're a steal...something for everybody!

the minidiscs are cheap and under lp2 format you can store lots of music in them and the quality isn't affected.

pros: small, in-line remote, 45 hour playback on standard aa batteries, fm/tv/weather tuner, uses cheap large capacity minidisc format.cons: small screen on player itself, extremely cheap stock

to me the great thing about a minidisc player is i can just change the disc and i have another gig of music ready to go so it is very versatile and cheaper than an mp3 player.

much cheaper than an mp3 player and the storage is removable so you don't have to keep adding and deleting music every time you want to listen to something else.
