Best Minidisc Players for Time

for practices, we use sonys mds-je-480 home stereo md player(about $150.00) it's better than using cd's (cause you don't have to keep changing them for every time you need to listen to the next

i wish it took less time to copy from cd to player, but that is probably the fault of my computer/cd rom.

i use the player constantly when i travel, 6-7 days a month and one battery normally last for my whole travel time when i play it for 4-5 hours a day while traveling.

not only that but the md player copies music really fast (it will copy more than one song at a time).

the three line readout has all the info you would expect such as album, band, tracks, length, time remaining etc.

you can always go back and transfer more if you want to or try to fill the disc in one day if you have the time.

i bought this player after spending loads of time choosing between the creative n200 and iriver flash 7xx series.

to record in real time unless you have to?

takes time to get recordings together.

its difficult to set the player bass and treble controls.its like hit n miss--sometimes it happens and when u try doing the same next time u dont get to do the same thing.

first i am a huge sony minidisc fan and have used md's for a long time.

lasts for hours on play time.

it always converts my mp3s to this format which is a waste time (granted it's only a few minutes, but i like to get things done as quick as possible).

i think that preciously naive time happened before the mp3 format came stomping into the music world and slew tapes, cds and minidiscs with its mighty clawed feet, and then did a dance on their

pros: if you did some recording on a minidisc when it was first came out, might be a good idea to have one.cons: i threw it against the wall one time to get it to work.

i dropped it several times but it still never missed a beat.

this takes a long time.

since the unit was purchased for my daughter, she has to ask permission to be logged into the computer each time she wants to make a new disk.
