I love the technology. from Cnet.com Even when the battery icon is flashing for you to change the battery, it will go at least another week before going dead, and even then, you can leave the battery in and turn it on half an hour later and get another 20 minutes out of it. It is a bit on the bulky side, which may not be to everyone's liking and there is no backlight, which may annoy some, but the performance outweighs all of that. I refuse to use Sony's horrible software, and I emphasize, HORRIBLE. The only other option is to use RealOne Player, which is so slow and memory consuming, but it gets the job done, just make sure you have time. from Cnet.com SonicStage, the software used to upload music to the NetMD is extremely un-userfriendly.
