My experience with the MotoQ has been nothing but awe. It works great as a phone, and the expanded capabilities that the WM5 environment provides helps me keep in touch easily - moving seamlessly from SMSing to calling to finding places to eat during trips etc. The Sprint version of the home screen quickly summarizes my tasks and gives me easy access to TEN recently used apps. The interface is a bit clunky (hence 4.5 stars), but I've gotten used to it (previous experience with a WM5 PPC helped). from Amazon.com Moto Q is a good phone great features. I never had a problem with it cutting off but yes the battery life is the worse. from Amazon.com Lapse... I think the brain of this phone isn't connected to the rest of it's body because sometimes I'll press a button and literally have to wait 5 seconds before the phone realizes someone is trying to use it. 5 seconds may not feel like much but in 5 seconds you could make a call, have the person tell you they'll call you back and hang up...meanwhile the Moto Q users are still waiting for their phone to wake up! Alarm...only one alarm so set to the most important time and keep it moving. from Amazon.com Good phone but unbelievably poor customer service and a useless warranty. While I have enjoyed using my Moto Q over the past six months, its keyboard broke recently and I made the mistake of sending it to Motorola's warranty service facility in McAllen Texas. Although they repaired the phone, they then lost it within their facility. from Amazon.com A charge on the phone doesn't last even a day, normally mid afternoon I have to charge it up again. Every time I finish using an application I go into task manager and delete that task so it isn't further draining the battery in the background. If I have the phone on the charger and I have to power down the phone due to some quirky behavior as mentioned above, when you turn the phone back on there is a weird looking battery icon flashing, almost as if the phone doesn't realize it's already being charged. I then have to unplug the phone from the charger, power the phone down, turn the phone back on then put the phone back on the charger. from Amazon.com Well, I think I am one of the lucky ones that still has their original Q after 7 months of service. I really haven't had to many problems with it. from Amazon.com I'm currently on my third Motorola Q, but only because this model keeps imploding and I paid for phone insurance that will only give me the same model that broke. The good news is that they'll only do it three times, which means now--since #3 Motorola Q won't let me answer incoming calls or text message (only half the keyboard is working--fun!)--I get to pay $300 for a new PDA! from Amazon.com Used it for 1 month and returned it. Doesn't come with many features of Windows Mobile, like office. Motorola made this phone, so feature less, that you can't adjust the brightness of the screen The processor seems to be real slow, windows media player takes a while to even come up when you click open. from Amazon.com I will be reluctantly getting my 3rd Q (replacement).
