you use MP3 player, we cannot use the Navigation system, there should be something like multiprocessing 3. setting option is very restricted. but in all it is a GPS, if you need all the feature from Buy.com . Bluetooth quality is excellent, crystal clear on my treo. Mp3 player works great. Lots of accessories (mount, carrying case, wall and car adaptors, usb, etc) Cons: Biggest gripe was that the maps didn from Buy.com For the price, it would be hard to find a better GPS value especially with the Bluetooth and MP3 feature package. Unfortunately, navigating the menu maze is a bit challenging (especially from Buy.com does everything that you require when on the road. The unit powers up and connects to the GPS quickly. It does have bluetooth and mp3. I do not know how useful the bluetooth is but the mp3 works great from Buy.com Summary: Very good GPS for low cost with added funtionality like bluetooth,mp3 player and text tp speech including street names. I went Decatur,IL which is a small city using this and it worked well from Datavis.com The Nextar X3B car navigation system is a good, compact model with many features. It's very thin and you could conceivably mount it any number of places on your dash (I have mine in front of my Tach from Buy.com where I wanted to go without a lot of trouble. The POI database is not very good and there are no updates availbabe for the maps or POI database. I have not used the bluetooth. The MP3 functions from Buy.com I just received my nextar x3b, and plug in my charge and tried to turn on the unit. The unit just got stucked in 'Loading'. This product immediately gives me an crappy impression and i tried several from Circuitcity.com . It would be great if the slideshow just kept going. Bluetooth works pretty good. It is fantastic if you have a MP3 connector in your car. Then you can hear through the radio (the sound is adequate on it from Circuitcity.com I bought this GPS because it was such a cheap price and I figured if I must go hands free I might as well get a navigation unit as well. Well the bluetooth works OK. I can connect to my phone from Buy.com I've had the unit for just a couple of weeks and it has performed as expected. I only use it as a navigator, so I don't really care for the MP3 or bluetooth capabilities. Directions are clear from Buy.com I just purchased the Nextar X3B, and put it through every test possible, it passed with flying colors. I cannot imagine why anyone is still willing to overpay for old old established name brands from Circuitcity.com didn't expect to use the Bluetooth feature so I'm not very disappointed. POI's are OK. They seem to fairly up to date. Rerouting is very fast. I haven't tried the MP3 player or picture viewer from Buy.com I purchased Nextar X3B last week and was defective out of box. Use to freeze as soon as you switch it on. I called Tehc Support they asked me to register this product then onlyt they will provide from Circuitcity.com If you are expecting a decent bluetooth experience, this is not the right product for you. As a navigation system it seems to work just fine. When I am using the bluetooth, the people on the other from Buy.com got the GPS, the Bluetooth function and GPS function work seperately. Everytime you turn off the machine, the bluetooth needs to be enable outside of Navigation......TERRIBLE. Also the POI search from Buy.com the navigation to play mp3s. At $150 it is a toss up between this unit and the tomtom one for $100. I really wanted text to speech, but I'm not sure it was worth the extra $50 and the loss of updated maps from Buy.com This GPS is loaded with features at a fraction of the cost I expected to pay for a bluetooth and text to voice equipped unit. The Bluetooth is terrible, if you can actually get it to finally work then there is a terrible crackling noise that makes for a great annoyance. If you want a GPS system at an affordable price then this is for you. I bought this for my wife and now I'll buy one from Buy.com This is one of the best Gps I have used. I was looking to purchase a Garmin Nuvi, but the cost was out of site. This does everything and more; Text to Speech, blue tooth, etc. I used the points from Buy.com This is our first GPS unit and we really like it. Easy to use, intuitive menus. Esp. like the bluetooth option - wasn't too hard to set up, just had to read the directions. Like the portability from Buy.com This is a nice little GPS unit. The screen is bright, the touch controls work well, and the text to speech capabilities are very good too. I have had only one issue with the unit - I can't get from Buy.com While this GPS will eventually get you there, the map is delayed, and sometimes doesn't refresh and show you where you need to turn until your passing it (or at least not enough time to get from Buy.com , local roads, major roads. I will say it is not so good at showing restaurants, or other Points of interest. You're pretty much on your own there. I have not used the blue tooth function or the MP3 from Buy.com Nextar does not offer any FREE map updates every year. Somebody (November 08, 2007, feetfirst5 from Fairborn, Oh) wrote it wrongly. The maps last updated in Dec. 2005. I will say consider from Buy.com I bought this unit in December. 5 months later I am awaiting replacement #4. It will work wonderful for a week. Then, freeze once in awhile. Within a month it will freeze for good. Nextar is quick from Buy.com I did not like it, had to wait a couple of time for gps signal. It had problems finding address to certain places that I had to get. Not that helpful. from Circuitcity.com this is a great little GPS, comes with instructions that arent too complicated, and the on screen guides you through pretty easily. great deal for the money. so far it has been right on target from Buy.com The gps is great and works well except for freezing up occasionally if you try to go too quickly thru the commands. I also bought the road hazzard set-up and it is great, telling you if something from Buy.com I own this GPS for a few weeks now. Its OK for that price. Only problem is... its dosent allow u to ask for the pin code and its tuff to go at some point on a highway.It also takes a while to catch from Buy.com I do alot of mountain driving with my fiancé. We have a higher-end sports car and really enjoy mountain drives. She navigates and I drive. This unit's fast updating REALLY makes a big difference. Out of the box, does not work from Circuitcity.com Overall am pleased with the unit. It doesn't always know the best/fastest/quickest routes to a destination regardless of the destination settings. The only think that it doesnt have is real time traffic. But it is preloaded with points from Circuitcity.com This is a basic entry level GPS with Text to speech. Don't pay more than $129. it is not worth it. Maps and POI are pre-loaded on internal flash memory. The memory must be slow because map from Circuitcity.com Overall, this product is pretty good out of the box. However, it does not come with the drivers to connect to a PC. So forget updating the map or easily getting data into the unit. The bluetooth from Circuitcity.com I am pleased. I have not used the "bluetooth" feature so I cannot comment on that . But I do feel the value is superb! I have found it to be a little off with directions in some cases by giving longer from Buy.com I got this as an early Christmas present last week.
