I had a sony clie and a Palm a while back and both didn't last me very long. The Palm lasted me only one year before the screen went totally black. from Amazon.com I ended up deleting those features so that I would have the memory for other functions. This does work well with e-books. I loaded several from the Franklin website onto the memory stick that fits into the handheld.
