Pros: Easy to use, not too heavy Cons: Vista? smudges easy "I bought this laptop for my mother to use and she loves it. It is light enough for her to carry around and easy for anyone to pick up and use right away.The dark colored top does smudge and get lots of fingerprint marks very easily.This is a perfect laptop for the everyday user who uses the internet. I've been using it for close to three weeks now, and the only thing I have notice about the laptop is that the "O" key occasionally won't strike while you're typing, but pushing a little harder will fix the problem for a good while. It was between this and a Sony Vaio with 1GB of RAM for less money. I'm soo glad I picked the Satellite. It's stacked with 2GB of RAM and a huge 160GB hard drive. Comparable laptops were going for between 650 and 800. It runs cool, it's quiet. The keys are well placed and the whole computer is excellent. I use Firefox because I can't stand Internet Explorer. I have no complaints with it except the battery life is less than 2 hours and the touch pad is very sensitive. It has been extremely fast and reliable. I have not had one problem with Vista so far.I love that it comes with a 5-1 bridge media adapter for reading memory cards.
