the lightscribe is great, even though it isnt in color i definitely prefer it over labels.
i connect it to a 24 inch monitor without any problem.
the only negative i have is that the keyboard is silver colored and letters on keys slightly difficult to see at an angle.
some primitive application's don't work well on the ~2:1 aspect ratio.overall, fantastic deal.
other thoughts: glossy top makes fingerprints very visible not a big fan of that.

and it is attractive when closed (though not so much open).it would be nice if the keyboard and lcd screen extended closer to the limits of the case--there seems to be a lot of space wasted there.
logmein.com, so that i can log into my desktop at work with this little guy and i don't have to load any programs on it.the only bad thing i might say is that it has a very tight viewing angle.

i like the pink color because it matches my cammera and cell phone case.
also the screen resolution and text might be hard to see/read for some but you can easily increase the text size or resolution through the control panel on the laptop.
when i want to do extensive work i just hook it up to my large monitor!
the webcam is crystal clear, the lcd is crisp, the os is quite capable and it runs quite faster than i had hoped it would be.
maybe a slightly higher resolution on the screen eventhough you see it crystal clear, let some programs like handbrake not to be installed, but i would say ist a small setback.
made some adjustments with screen brightness, wi-fi range, and laptop illumination...now i'm getting about an hour and 45 minutes with one application running be it photoshop or browsing...just make

when at home, he plugs his 20" monitor into the netbook and he loves it!
good screen resolution, easily upgradeable ram, large hdd (160gb), large keyboard.
first, the bezel around the screen is a bit to wide (but this is made up for by the fact that there is extra room next to the lcd to add a gps antenna and also run all the necessary connections for
the battery last around 4 hours under heavy usage in xp and 5 hours with low brightness and webcam off and only bluetooth or wifi on.
cons: * wish the 6-cell battery was slimline to the unit* either hinge is too strong and/or lcd is top-heavy* trackpad too sensitive or button placement makes for sporadic movement* non l-shaped plug
i was very concerned about the glossy screen, but it's not as bad as i had anticipated.?
fast, beautiful lcd, and a keyboard that types better than any keyboard i've ever owned.
display is beautiful.
very nice display and easy to start using cons: the battery life isn't that great.
for this big a screen, this resolution looks bad.*screen not as sharp as other computers i've seen.
its screen resolution is great it looks just like my 720p television.
screen resolution looks good for now.
the real problem with this webcam is there is no software on the computer that allows you to make adjustments to it (brightness, contrast, ect..).

it's also a great desktop replacement because of the expandability, powerful processor, screen size and keyboard layout.
it is an aesthically appealing machine, although i find (because of its glossy features) i must "polish" it weekly.
screen- this screen is "true" 1080 hd resolution -the specs on this page are wrong.
the vga port being able to output nice 1080 equivalent saved me from needing to buy a new projector to run blu-ray at a decent resolution.
use it for internet trading, with external monitor.
it is light weight easy to carry with a large screen and great color.
perfect size, not so big that you don't want to take it with you (16"),with a complete keyboard (10 key), which is one of the reasons i got it.hdmi - connected easily to my 47" lcd so everyone in the
the screen is bright and the colors are vivid.
the speakers and the lcd display perform very well when viewing hd movie trailers and various dvd's.
i just wish lightscribe media would drop in price some.the brightness is great, the keys seem fine and i think they are aluminum or coated with it.
really nice display.
great graphics courtesy of geforce 9600m gt and 16" display (1366x768).
the screen measures smaller than my not so dearly departed desktop, but seems twice as big with beautiful resolution.
wow, the monitor is huge!
typing on a full-size keyboard.+ easy to upgrade hdd and/or memory cons: + s10e has a slightly smaller screen (10.1 instead of 10.2), which changes the resolution from 1024x600 to 1024x576.
in response to r on 3/26/2009 the partition on the hdd is inaccurate along with the display, you can run in 800x600 no problem.
the lcd screen is bright and vivid, but the glossy screen doesn't fare well in the sun...
my 'delete' key feels kind of loose or something (makes a louder 'click' when pressed) touchpad is small but easy to get used to (people want the trackpoint but that could possibly mess up the lcd).
glossy screens are usually a con for me, but with the brightness up, you can hardly even tell.
widescreen is nice.also not mentioned in the product listing, it appears to have 1x pcmcia slot and 1x expresscard slot.
first thing i did was re-imaged the pc with ibm's superlative re-imageing software that comes built in.
one of the best lcd screens (no glare).
light works flawlessly, lcd is without glare.
the lcd screen is crisp and clear.
nice display.
another small note is that the color is very different than it looks in the picture it's a lot glossier but also a lot darker, you kinda can't tell it's blue when you are in a room that isn't very
it's pretty fast and doesn't crash i created a 25600x19200(don't ask why) image in paint and it barely took any time to process, when it would crash my old computer in its tracts.
the monitor is great, vista is actually nicer theni thought it was, i really like the interface.
with me to college as i would be living off campus, i knew i wanted a core 2 duo centrino for the low wattage, 3+gb of ram for vista (xp will always have a place in my heart) and a decent display.
