I bought this product (AO751h-1885) on 08-05-2009 and used it since then daily for email, web surfing etc.
The main problem with this laptop is the windows vista parasite that it ships with.
HP does not honor their warranty.
I agree with the comments about HP support.
I have had no issues with it and the fact is it is much faster then my HP desktop.
Hes always using it, so I gather that hes happy with it and it works well.
I tried writing a review on HPs site, and they didnt post it, to me, that speaks volumes.
Functions well as an entertainment system, connected logitech X530 surround sound speakers, however, an external sound card is needed to get true surround sound.
Apparently, HP laptops are supposed to have this heating problem.

When typing on the keyboard it feels like some of the keys are going to pop off and the body is cased in shinny black plastic that show all the finger prints and more imprortantly scratches.
At $999 with free prime shipping and a $50 rebate, this notebook was an especially good buy.

I have been on the phone with tech support more times than I can count trying to figure out why this piece of junk keeps popping up a bluescreen error and shutting down.
The processor is the very capable T4200 (Core Duo), which is great for something at this price point, as netbooks and many other "value" notebooks are shipping with either the Atom or Celeron single core chips.
costs too much in todays economy, the vendors need to quit resisting and drop prices big time.

The track pad buttons are small and very stiff - endurable, but a much better situation if you're comfortable with `tapping' on the track pad.
Cons: ctrl and function keys are swapped for some reason - i expect the ctrl key to be left-most bottom-most key, and it's not.
Plus it is from lenovo, so you know that it is quality.
I am thinking maybe I should have ordered the black version, as the white version can get dirty easily!
I will never buy lenovo again, this was 1st and last time.
Also, the battery last only like 2.5 hours, but considering the size and the processing power of the laptop, I say that's not an issue.
I recently purchased a slightly different version of this HP DV6 laptop for my mother-in-law (all HP DV6 laptop models share a common chassis and only vary on a few components).
HP will not take back under warranty until unit fails complety.
Couldn't explain why Amazon states a 15.6" screen, while HP Tech Support site says its a 16".

A very disappointing issue: the Acer screen became fully distored when connect to external digital TV or extra monitor...no video output detected, nothing shown on the external devices; even with proper setting for external devices and proper cables....
A word of caution for anyone buying an acer aspire timeline computer either the 15.6" or 14".
The problem can be cured by downloading and installing the latest BIOS, driver, and application files from Acer's web site.
Bought this computer for my daughter, as the light weight and long battery life seemed ideal, even though it was a little on the slow side.

As everyone else says, it was a good price, I bought this laptop from Office Depot online, they only give you 14 days to return it, and after 18 days of light use..

I got this laptop as a birthday/graduation gift from my parents and I LOVE it.
I've had many netbooks over the past year and this has the largest screen.
It's OK if you just want to check your mail but even with the extra 1MB ROM I added it is very slow for games.
I bought this because writing a paper on the teeny tiny acer one is hard, as you're lucky to see one paragraph at a time.
With the netbook I can be in the kitchen with my kids and still keep up with everything that's going on that needs my attention.
We have had the Aspire for a month now and my wife and I really love it.

I bought the Acer Timeline because I just got rid of my MacBook with the intention of buying a MacBook Air.
I installed Windows 7 RC on it and the Acer Timeline runs it flawlessly.
Acer is getting better designing their notebooks, they look sharp and perform decent.
As you had Known Windows Vista is the worst OS ever, some laptop works well enough with it, but the rest really not.
