It's fast, and it's a great price. [...]. There was a driver missing originally, but I contacted MSI tech support and they emailed me the driver within an hour. To say the least, I was impressed. from Amazon.com Cons: It comes installed with 32bit Vista, which is perplexing. This is my only major complaint about the entire thing. The OEM key included with the system will not work with 64bit, MSI may be willing to assist with a new key, I didn't waste the time and just used my own. The screen is super glossy and reflects everything. from Newegg.com Pros: This computer was a gift I got for graduation, so I picked it out based on how well it would be able to do stuff not only for now but for the next few years while I'm at college. So far, it has exceeded all my expectations. The graphics card is great (can run COD4 and Fallout 3 at max settings at the max resolution with ~50 FPS), the sound quality is the best I have EVER heard out of a laptop when you turn the Cinema Pro on, and it has handled everything I have been able to throw at it so far with flying colors. from Newegg.com Cons: A little glossy. I have also seen some computers with lower end class 2 graphics cards around 900 to 1000 dollars. This computer, so far, has been excellent. Cons: The reason I gave it 3 eggs is because the warranty sticker is in a real bad spot and if your not careful it will get rubbed off. I don't know why MSI would do this but I would say that's what they intended to happen. The graphics card is great. If you need a cheap gaming notebook this is the one for you. I have contacted MSI but haven't received a response yet (I just reported this issue.) I hope they have decent service. Other Thoughts: I couldn't recommend this laptop more. from Newegg.com As configured it was an $850 laptop with intel integrated graphics, memory speed was half of this one, it was at least twice as heavy even with the battery out, the battery life was 1hr 55min on power save settings, and that thing got super hot(even the ac adapter) after only 5 to 15 minutes of use. This was a much better buy. And this ex625 is completely upgradable too. from Newegg.com Your forced to use Fn+F7 of F8. Since this is a desktop replacement for me i have dedicated 2.1 speakers with there own volume control so it's not to concerning.
