Archos uses substandard parts on all of their products and they will not honor their warranties when the parts break. I have a $500 paper weight because I bought there product. Get an eee PC - they are much better products and their support is excellent. from Amazon.com Arrived as promised, (Amazon is Excellent) had all the parts, some fun entertainment features, nice to have XP again. The built in camera and microphone work quite well and you can hear the speakers. Did have some communication issues between wireless modem and pc. Called Archos support, waiting per recording to an off peek time, on hold 23 minutes then allowed to leave message for a call back which never came. from Amazon.com I purchased from Tiger Direct the 3 cell version. I can get 2.5 hours out of a charge with moderate use. from Amazon.com I purchased the Archos 10 from Amazon for $258. At this price I couldn't go wrong. from Amazon.com I wanted to get a netbook for my son who is starting high school next school year because they are light weight (perfect for a backpack full of textbooks)and they can do everything the big 1's can do.
