So by now you've probably read a couple of reviews about this and other notebooks but can't make up your mind and are probably sitting on the fence because you don't like the bad press about the keyboard flex, low screen resolution or some other reason? Well, I did the same - in fact, I spent the best part of 4 straight months, pouring over review after review of notebooks that fitted my criteria only to find myself sitting on the fence, scared to take the plunge... from Amazon.com I purchased the MSI GT627-218US roughly a month ago. It was a great choice. from Amazon.com I have been using this laptop for a few weeks now. It handles everything I throw at it perfectly. from Amazon.com Pros: this lappy is GREAT. It was a really tough decision, but I decided to go with this one since I like the design and look of the MSI better. from Newegg.com Pros: Super Fast- I have played the crisis demo on high with 1680x1050 ResolutionGreat Screen- The screen is high resolution and looks good, not as good as my HDTV but still good. Blu-ray- Blu-ray is great Esata- It is so much faster than USB 2.0 (Geting transfer rates 2x as high or more)Blue-Tooth- Haven't used it yet, but I will to hook up to a headset, my phone and maybe a mouse and keyboardWireless N- Again haven't used it but it is a lot faster and has better rangeHDMI- I used it to hook up to my reciever and HDTV and it is greatTURBO BUTTON- This button allows me overclock with a slide of my finger and make this thing even fasterOther Buttons- All of the touch sensors are greatWebcam- I used it last night to talk on skype and it was great. from Newegg.com Pros: This machine will run anything you throw at it including the most high tech and latest games in full res.
