Introduction: I've had this laptop for six months and use it for random internet searching and school, occasionally i play games on it and frequently stream movies and videos. The reason i am rating this four stars is because i only paid 650$ for this. from Amazon.com We have had trouble with it dropping the internet and freezing up. HP has been helpful but it is a pain to spend an hour ever few days to get it up and running again. I thought it would be fast and it isn't fast at all. from Amazon.com Laptop was received with a broken ethernet port. HP would not service my laptop due to "customer related damage" which it was obviously not. There is a reason they are dead last in all customer service polls. from Amazon.com Despite some people saying it overheats, it has not gotten overly hot for me, even while gaming. Battery life has also been better for me than some others has written, I've gotten 2-2 1/2 hours with it. Fast computer out of the box and after a clean reinstall or at least uninstalling of hp bloat, even faster. Looks great and feels like an overall solid computer. from Newegg.com I love HP. It uses, im not sure what its called, but I think its Cool n Quiet from AMD, that changes the clock speed of the CPU, NB, and HT Link to keep temperatures down. It's a hardware problen because the screen flickers even in the BIOS. I have told this to the HP technical service at the phone, but he was ignoring just what I said and proceeded to update windows and the drivers, to see if the problem was solved.
