I've had a tx for about two years and, a few days ago, its wireless adapter stopped working (first it became intermittent and then it stopped for good). I tried everything HP recommended: updated the BIOS, reinstalled drivers and - in complete despair - even run a "hard reset", returning the device to its original state.
