Bluetooth, webcam, keyboard hotkeys, wireless and SD slot work 100%. Rudimentary multitouch, and mouse gestures!MUCH better sound under Linux. The driver HP supplies for Windows makes everything sound terrible. Who buys on impulse and then complains they're not getting something that is obviously not in the box and then erroneously claimed you can't get it? A quick search on some other sites or search on the HP site would have turned up the cable to convert the video out. It exists and has worked well for me. from Newegg.com The out of stock thing is a lie to cover up the fact that they have not made any. Customer service keeps saying it will be out which has been going on for 6 months. I used to love HP but now I will use my Dell and MSI netbooks. They at least both have a standard VGA out. from Newegg.com Cons: the screen is really glossy, this is fine when your in a dim or dark room, but if your in a well lit area your going to see a lot of reflections. its not too bad but will get annoying sometimes, even though that same glossy screen makes it look sexy. battery life is short i HIGHLY recommend buying the 6 cell off of Hp in addition to this the charge time is slower then i would like it to be, but i have never really used a laptop so i'm not sure how it compares. it gets somewhere between 2 to 3 hours of good usage when on battery. from Newegg.com The screen is bright (almost to bright). and It's nice looking. Cons: Newegg is advertising this 1035NR as having a 10.2" 1024x600 screen but I received my 1035NR with a 10.1" 1024x576 screen. I am very unhappy with this and am in talks with Newegg about possibly returning or exchanging this one for one with the 10.2" 1024x600 screen as I had ordered. from Newegg.com I'm a graphic designer, computer tutor and instructional technology student.
