It is better than I expected. from Dell.com Pros:?Connecting with Friends, Travel, School ReviewI suppose I should have opted for the 16GB hard drive but I wasn't aware that the pre-installed software would take up 6GB out of 8 (really 7.10). After uninstalling everything inessential there is still much less space than I would like to have, but I understand this is a drawback of the computer's size. It's not quite as quick as I expected either, slower than my three-year-old Inspiron E1505, but I admit this is something I also should have expected. from Dell.com Screen is bright and clear. After "tweaking" the OS a bit, e-mail and internet are just as quick/responsive as my desktop. The SD card slot is a perfect addition to a system like this, and makes the fact that there is no CD drive a non-issue. The webcam/audio is high-quality, and makes chatting with the family while I'm on the road very easy! from Dell.com Keep a flash drive handy! Speakers are very tinny so listening to music isn't the best optional use. The smaller keyboard drives me a bit crazy since I am a touch typist and NOT a text messager.
