This machine performs with good speed. I have only had it for a couple of weeks. from Buy.com Bought the computer about 2 months ago and immediately upgraded to 4 gigs of ram based on what I had heard about vista being a memory hog. No such problem with the 4 gigs, plus the 2 gig ram card was on sale for about 50 bucks which was easy to self install.(It comes with 3 gigs ram - 1 card with 2 gigs and 1 card with 1 gig which fills both available slots So you need to remove and replace the 1 gig ram card with the new 2 gig ram card which I did myself) . Boots fairly quickly but not lightening fastas I had expected with 4 gigs. from Circuitcity.com I am very impressed with the display on the Toshiba laptop and I played a few movies on it and the images were awesome! I would've preferred the Dell laptops myself but I found this Toshiba for a better price and I must say, I am very satisifed with my descision. from Circuitcity.com I bought mine about three weeks ago. Has worked perfectly. The RM-70 is spectacular, and Vista is phenomenal.
