So I just received my Compaq laptop today and it's amazing. Fast, no lag, bright screen, works great. from Amazon.com I found this laptop on sale at Office Depot on 15 August 2009 with a base price of $[...] minus $[...] instant rebate minus $[...] by mail. Final price of $[...] is a pretty good deal for this machine. This is my first Compaq/HP laptop, so I can't speak to longevity but after a week so far, so good. A couple of observations: from Amazon.com We bought 2 of these computers for my daughters who are in college and high school. We have a home network that we have 4 other computers set up on, and at this point, 2 weeks later, still can't get these to keep an internet connection. from Amazon.com My grandparents purchased this laptop for me for graduation and my birthday, and So far its pretty cool. While this one didn't turn out to be the right choice for me it would be a good fit for someone looking for a low cost notebook for web browsing or light use around the home but doesn't like the small screens and keyboards found on netbooks. from Amazon.com As everyone else says, it was a good price, I bought this laptop from Office Depot online, they only give you 14 days to return it, and after 18 days of light use.. BAM!! from Amazon.com Bought my CQ 60-410 computer 28 Aug 09. Today is 28 Sept 09. I have been on the phone with tech support more times than I can count trying to figure out why this piece of junk keeps popping up a bluescreen error and shutting down. After a month of calls they finaly decide I need to return it to the factory so they can fix it. from Amazon.com I bought this for my granddaughter and she loves it.
