Plenty of storage space and nice placement of DVD and ports. Win7 runs well on it (I've installed already - normal purchase qualifies for free upgrade to ship next month) The thing I LOVE about this notebook most is the battery life. In testing I get easily 6+ hours of real use. from Amazon.com I have one of Acer's 10" Netbook Computers and it is very nice. I saw that several posters had provided their experiences here and i wanted to provide additional info on a related model. from Amazon.com Bought this computer for my daughter, as the light weight and long battery life seemed ideal, even though it was a little on the slow side. When we got it, I noticed the speed issue right away, and the speakers were really pathetic. from Amazon.com Playing HD video was a primary requirement that I had for this machine. Short answer: the 4810TZ plays streaming HD video smoothly and with no problems (with 2 other LOW power drain IE tabs open). In many tests with Netflix streaming HD videos it averaged 50-75% CPU usage and not more than 1.3 GB memory usage. from Amazon.com I purchased this computer in June. It is not the fastest laptop I have had, but it has the best battery life, very light and thin, and can run the programs that I am intending to use it for without difficulty. The screen looks great, the computer looks sleek and my daughter uses it for the whole day without needing a charge. I bought it for her to use it at school, and neither of us are gamers. from Amazon.com Any 4810T made before July has a problem due to thermal instability. When driven hard for a while the machine becomes slower and slower and just stops, showing 100% CPU activity, even with no user activity at all. from Amazon.com
