I love my new acer netbook, travels well, fits in my purse and take it to scrapbooking hooked to my printer can do everything I do on my larger laptop. from Amazon.com Don't buy the package that includes a 2GB memory upgrade for this computer. The Aspire One will support only 1GB additional memory, so the upgrade is a waste of money. from Amazon.com Recently purchased this Acer and it's already become a favorite of the family. The notebook has no dvd drive, something I found to be essential after the purchase. I had to buy a USB dvd drive, a decent one will run you close to $100.00. The notebook comes with very basic software. from Amazon.com I've had the short-life-battery version of this machine for just over a year, and it has died. I can't even get BIOS. Called Acer; repair prices are cost prohibitive.
