Everything worked fine, except the hidden restore partition that IBM puts on the drive. I was pleased with this purchase - for the price it couldn't be beat! from Tigerdirect.com The T42 I received had been ridden hard and put away wet. Intermittently wouldn't power on until finally it never powered on. CD burner was non-functional. Hard drive crashed. Fortunately I learned from Lenovo's web site that the unit was still under the factory warranty. Kudos to Lenovo service- easy to work with, prompt, and my T42 was returned fully functional and hasn't had a problem since. The 802.11b is Cisco mini-PCI. I had a few problems getting the right Linux drivers to load, but nothing insurmountable. from Tigerdirect.com Absolute junk.
