There's a lot of Hard Drive space and a good amount of memory. I like all the features like the quick play and the remote that comes with it. The sound is really loud and of high quality. I compared it to a dell e1505 and saw that this was a better deal. The layout is really nice and the lights on the panel make it visually appealing. I was very happy with it. from Circuitcity.com Before I purchased the unit I asked the Circuit City sales rep if I could add Ram to get 1 Gig in the HP 6226, or would I have to replace ram. He said I could just add.. Not true, you have to replace ram as it comes with 2- 256. It took a lot of convincing on my part to get them to come up with any type of compromise. If I didn't want the machine it would be a 15% restocking charge. Other stores have no restocking charge and they give 30 days for tryout, Circuit City gives you 2 weeks.It definitely needsthe 1 gig of RAM for running Vista.However the machine is great and does what I expected of it. from Circuitcity.com
