Pros: None Cons: Unit relies on your muscles, So if u have any muscle damage or spasms it will not work. Thank you from Newegg.com I wonder if it would mess with your mind anyway. A wrist strap or a usb cable plugged into your computer and attached to yourself solves the "grounding problem". Do read the forums on the OCZ website before you decide if this is for you. It requires a lot of patience and desire. from Amazon.com Pros: This NIA is pretty awsome, being able to see impulses and muscle movement being converted into computer language, and being able to do something with that. Cons: The NIA is definitly in its infant stages, only because, even with sensitivity control which you can control, anyone could possibly being thinking of anything else would through it off or a muscle twitch in your forehead could also through it off. from Newegg.com Pros: *Very fast and accurate reading of muscle jerks in the face*eye muscle tracking*alpha and beta channels are usable, but take a lot of practice and settings tweaking*watching your waves for purposes of meditation and self analysis is fun (for doing this I recommend lowering the smoothing) Cons: *Takes time to learn to use*Doesn't "read your mind"*Does not replace mouse*Sometimes games have to many keys for it to fully replace keyboard*Some people have static issues Other Thoughts: I can actually play sonic the hedgehog using nothing but the NIA. Uses muscle movements in the forehead to move. This is terribly inefficient and you can't smile laugh or anything of that nature while using the nia.
