i've had the sx2800 for about two months and it's performance has been fast and quiet and reliable, with no crashes.

i'm considering an upgrade to a p9500 core 2 duo at 2.53ghz and 6mb of l2 to offset this impact on performance caused by the background drivers.
if you really want to get some performance out of it, install openoffice and firefox, as both seem to take advantage of the hardware and outperform their ms brethren by wide margins.

if you have a compatible motherboard and are running an x2 or first generation phenom this is a very worthwhile upgrade.the included fan/heatsink performs quite well under heavy loads.
so far this cpu does everything i ask of it, i hardly get it about 34% usage and the amd cool and quiet works well, it slows the cpu to 800mhz until i need more than it brings the cpu back to full

i have had this computer almost a month and very pleased with the gaming and software performance.
the touchscreen functionality itself takes advantage of vista's "baked in" tablet pc functionality.
i disabled it and use the native windows touch functionality.
guests comment on it's attractive outward appearance and are wowed by it's touchscreen functionality.
except for basic kinds usage, their functionality is a bit limited, but they are fun to use though.
if a future software update fixes this (hopefully), i will be completely satisfied with my hp touchsmart's performance and usefulness.
