I purchased this from Amazon to use in my boss's (a judge) office and after having it LESS THAN 2 MONTHS - I've received the blue screen of death. After spending almost an hour on the phone with Sony - they told me to take it to the Sony store in the Galleria here in Dallas. A young gentlemen by the name of Case helped me. from Amazon.com I have the silver version of this computer. I also have a 24" Imac. The Imac is for my business, the Sony was for my 16 year old daughter. I was strictly PC until about a year and half ago, went with Apple and am sorry I didn't do it sooner! from Amazon.com Blu-Ray I believe means 1920 x 1080p. The resolution of the screen on this computer is stated to be 1680 x 1050. from Amazon.com I have the silver version of this computer. I also have a 24" Imac.
