I recommend using the 'custom' install so you can select (& de-select) which programs you want installed. Each has a good description so you can figure out if you want it or not. Also, if you're installing Xandros as a duel-boot w/Windows or another OS, be sure to manage the partitions yourself; it's very easy. It even has a 'browse' button so you can see what's on a partition so you can be sure not tso format one you don't want to. from Tigerdirect.com This is the first time I can say a Linux distribution is really working for me.
