Bought a HP with no parallel port and have a printer with lots of life left in it. Just pressed card into open slot ran driver from the included CD, and parallel output was ready in about 5 minutes. Used this to add a second printer to my computer. from Amazon.com For some God-awful reason, many PCs today come without parallel ports, and the trend towards sticking USB ports all over the place continues.
