When I bought this, I was just looking for a longer cable to connect my dsl modem to my airport express, so any cheap 25 ft cable would work for me. When the cable arrived, I was pleasantly surprised to find that it was a General Electric cable, very nice and packaged well instead of the "Some Records" cable advertised. from Amazon.com The item was listed as "Some Records HO96274 25FT Ethernet CAT 5E Cable." The picture made it look gray in color. I honestly didn't know what I was getting into, but the low price was attractive. from Amazon.com The only problem I could imagine is the connector tips. They fit so tightly in the Ethernet port, only a small tool can push down the prong and disconnect. The length- 25 feet- should be quite sufficient for anyone.
