many people have said that this stand is of poor quality. It is true that is is not the best stand you could buy but for the money it is well worth it. from Amazon.com Like others said, it's not an "official" Yamaha stand. It's generic but very sturdy and the adjustment works with one limitation: you can only lower it so far as the more you lower it, the wider the space at top, which will exceed the lenght of some keyboards at the lower levels. from Amazon.com The stand was very wobbely after assembled.
