This book is a must have for anyone wishing to learn drums. It is great for beginners and moves up to some pretty advanced beats. from Amazon.com Carmine Appice is a legend - he was the first guy to write an instructional book that teaches you how to play ROCK drums. As with any instruction, take it slowly and get a good grasp of each exercise.
