i use my projector for personal family viewing and for professional presentations.

i dont suffer from eye fatigue/headaches watching this projector, nor have i had any of the dozen or so people that have auditioned or sat though a whole movie mention it or point it out.
i do not see any of the rainbow effects that other people complain of at all.
most people thought they looked very much alike but a small majority favored the 720 version.
unlike other people, i don't know about the performance of other projectors.
i personally will never go back to a tv, at least for the living room.
even though my personal projector screen is rather small, i am very satisfied with this projector, and i find it hard to see how anyone could not be.
people always go "wow" when they see a bright image projected six by ten feet at 720p.
also i heard some peoples complaining about rainbow effect, but i haven't seen any.
some people complained of noise, but i find the unit to be very quiet, especially when mounted near the floor.
i find myself noticing the texture in people's clothing for example, nose hair & so on.
the s-video or rca jack will be what most people use to connect with and they do not support true hd.
i'm definitely going to buy the newer version for personal use.
i thought this was strange and am hoping i am just missing something, however i looked through the users guide several times and also asked 2 other people to do the same.
cons: none, buy a screen, personally i'm using an accuscreen 120' inch looks wonderful.
i personally like to have a paper manual to flip through.
these speakers will do the job nicely and would be suitable for small to medium sized presentations (think 10-30 people).
our audience is anywhere from 100 to 300 people.
as well, as another person mentioned, the blacks could be blacker, but when compared to the older technology of the s3, the blacks look quite dark.
these reviews are likely from people who represent that competing company that simply want to lower the score of the reviewed product in hopes of promoting their own.
the age of the media center pc is beginning people, join in.
she stared at the wall in silence for a moment, then said to me "we're having people over this weekend." how's that for a seal of approval?
i don't have too much to add on what other people have said - it's a great projector.
personally i think the picture looks better and dammit who wouldnt want a brighter projector in general....its all about the lumens uless you're mounitng your projector in a lightless cave.
i read a comment, and i agree, that projectors in the personal price range will never equal hd tvs in terms of overall quality, and bought this expecting such.
i believe i may pickup on it more than most people, but i see it a good amount on this projector.
it is simply astonishing to see how people react to the size of your screen.
i would recommend it but only if u really want to pay 1600 for a really really great item, when many people would be very happy with a cheaper item, i demanded 1080p and i got it for a price...
i'm not bothered by it because, how many people stare at your ceiling anway?
wide open it will drown out alot of the picture, but that is expected from any projector unless you intend to spend 10k+ $$.picture to cost ratio is the best on the market in my own personal opinion.
i'm very impressed with the viewsonic people.
needless to say if you have the lights wide open it will drown out alot of the picture, but that is expected from any projector unless you intend to spend 10k+ $$.picture to cost ratio is the best on
my personal experience has been a good one.
i personally got it for about $315 shipped from a reputable online auction site (ahem) and it had only been used for an hour and came without the remote control which i honestly could care less about.
which is what people's hdtv recievers broadcast at for their hd televisions.
i do not know what the low rating people voted this projector so low for!
its like i have my own personal movie theater.
after reading the few reviews on amazon i kind of think they are written by people who are reviewing this based on its specs, without actually having seen or used the projector.
it sounds crazy but i am really excited about this basic feature that you don’t see on a lot of other projectors, especially when i will have a lot different people using this.
the remote has source search which is nice for people that don't understand comp 1, comp 2 and s video.
pros excellent color, focus and brightness adapts easily to different video sources dual svga inputs very handy very light weight no cool down period after use cons auto-keystone adjustment
the sharp was incredible, and i would never have any complaints until i see in person what the 1080p projectors can do nowadays.
i guess some people just can't be happy.
everything else is great, but if you can, check one out in person before you buy.
the black is not as good as jvc rs2 (one of the best projectors) but it is good enough for most people.
pros superb image quality; easy to install; wide range ability to focus vertically and horizontally; 3 hdmi inputs; user friendly remote; ability to memorize personal settings; excellent price for
projectors people price is 2350 us and street price is around 2700 us.
but, amazon almost always has the best prices on this product, so i posted my review here so that people can get an idea of my experiences.
personally, i'd like to be able to disable the iris, and possibly i have - the manual isn't clear on this.
this wasn't a problem for me, but it will be for some people.
