if you have a small budget, i recommend getting this projector and pairing it with a good screen instead of blowing your entire budget on a 1080p projector.

i have it ceiling mounted (upside down of course) 13.5 feet from the wall, which gives a 120" diagonal screen.
it's a whole different experience to play video games on a huge screen, and it's also cool to have an in-home theater.
i've had it for a month or so and the only problem i've had is getting the projector to project the image directly on the screen.
i am using this as my primary video device and you can't beat it for the price but if you can afford a nice hd flat screen go for it as this projector is better suited as a secondary unit.

my only gripe is there is no zoom lense, so you need to move the projector back and forth to get it to fit the screen.

i did build a screen for mine and my basement theater is very very dark and that has helped alot but even with minimal light it still works great.

and the brightness and the color are so strong you don't really need a screen, i just use empty walls.
