if you are looking to get this for every day tv watching please get a tv not this but if you want it for movies yes.
we run a long cable from our cable box in the house, tack a 12 foot fold up screen to the side of the house or garage door and show movies to the whole neigborhood, this year we also showed the mlb
cons: 1024x768 is somewhat low when you're trying to use this for anything other than movies and presentations.
so it comes down to movies, which is why i gave this product a 4 vs 5.
i've watched a lot of movies so far, and am extremely impressed in this projector...colors are great, and even though its natively 720p, you can easily change it to 1920x1080 on a computer.
also, there has been some buzz about "rainbow effect" with this projector, but i've never seen it - nor have a dozen or so other familiy & friends that have watched movies or sports with this
with what i saved on the price match on the projector and an onkyo hts-5100b, i basically got a killer bluray player for free.
i have also connected it to my blue-ray player and watched a movie which was amazing.
