It's easy to set up and run. As a busy teacher it was a relief to not have a piece of equipment so complicated that it took a scientist to show you how to turn it on. Epson EX50 3LCD Multimedia Projector, XGA, 2200 Lumens from Amazon.com I had reservations about buying another gadget that may or may not work with my computer, and I've had problems with Epson printers in the past, but I decided to take my chances on this projector. I am so glad I did, because I love this thing! from Amazon.com Took it out of the box and tried to set it up - but red "lamp" light kept flashing. No light at all. I looked up in the troubleshooting guide and then called Epson and they confirmed - the lamp appears to be dead. They are sending me another one - so I have to wait another week to see if it works. from Amazon.com This is the first projector I have owned, but not the first one I've used (I work with them). For the price, I think this is an excellent deal. For ~$530 (projector) and ~$100 (screen), or do what I did - make your own, you can create your own home theater and watch tv/movies LARGE. from Amazon.com The unit I ordered came through with an error message and it would not work. Then the display light indicated that there was a problem with the lamp. I called Epson to troubleshoot and it was indeed a bad lamp.
