The image was clear and bright enough to leave on most of the overhead lights, a big step up from our earlier Epson 710. After also trying an Optoma DLP projector with extremely washed out colors, I am staying with LCD projectors from Epson. from Pcnation.com Has Filters, my Mitsubishi's don't and it's really nice. Other Thoughts: Projector is Sweet! I love Epson, used to be a big Mitsubshi fan until their products exceeded my budget. I put this unit heads up against the top of the line NEC and Sharp projectors and it while by a mile. This is not a review of this product, but rather a word to the wise... from Amazon.com Once you have everything setup with the projector the remote won’t be as big as a deal, but it’s a constant look at the buttons carefully feel when you are using it. Other Thoughts: One of the huge reasons other than low price that I considered this projector was the replacement lamp cost. My other Mitsubishi bulbs are $400+ while the Epson S5 MSRP bulb is $199!
