Excellent picture quality. I had bought a viewsonic projector but returned that once I saw the clarity of this one. The features are good and the best part is the zoom that allows you for fine adjustments (was not there in the viewsonic one). from Circuitcity.com We are not shipping an elephant here, and when it was returned, they used DHL with no special foam packing. Shipping cost them about $9.00 and I guess there is a $36 handling fee. The estimated repair bill to replace the DVD motor was $650, more then the price of a brand new unit! This would be like purchasing a new car for $30,000, driving it for a few years, the tranny going out and paying $40,000 to have it replaced. from Amazon.com i also like the slot loading dvd player, although that is something that can sometimes go wrong (whereas the pop open lid on the dv10 keeps it simple in that regard). from Buydig.com all in all it is good and i like it so far.mainly use it for the kids to project their movies on the wall from Circuitcity.com this projector has great picture after a bit of tuning, and is great for movie nights. from Buydig.com i simply opened the box, followed step by step turn on/off instructions as illustrated on a single page, inserted a dvd and voila..it was good to go in 5 minutes. from Circuitcity.com i am completely satisfied with this movie projector. from Circuitcity.com i watch mine on a homemade screen that measures 7 foot by 4 foot at a distance of about 12 foot, and it is like being in a movie theatre. from Circuitcity.com summary: the best part about dv11 is the built in dvd player and the adequate speakers which is very important that we can use the projector in more than one place. from Buydig.com another downside was that i was hoping that it would have an hdmi input as the sony dvd had a hdmi output, so you are on the second step of picture quality!overall, a good experience. from Circuitcity.com
