very nice product, thin to carry it every where, walking, running and so on.
i was concerned that the "shake" feature to switch songs might be irritating if it were too sensitive so that when you were walking or jogging, etc.
she loves listening to it while walking to classes at penn state and going to the gym.
also, when you shake the device, it skips to another song, which is fun, but not so fun when it is so sensitive it skips songs just from walking with it.
the cover flow is one of the most irritating aspects; i don't want to hold my ipod totally erect while walking, but if it gets shifted to the side, the wheel no longer controls the volume but the

jogging, walking, general sports activities where there really is no need for a video screen to view.
the only complaint i have is that it has a shuffle feature that activates if you shake it, and sometimes walking to fast can shake it enough to activate it.

very nice little unit, very light, great for the gym, walking, jogging, etc.

i use my ipod everywhere i go: at home, walking or jogging, in my car, etc.
if you go jogging with your ipod, this is not the best choice, but for everyday use (working and walking around with the ipod in your pocket, for example), the classic is plenty sturdy enough.
the nano did surprisingly well considering i take my ipod biking, hiking, walking, snowshoeing, and even out to the hot tub!
