the sandisk sansa clip mp3 player is supercheap, solid sound quality, and nicely compact.

ipod touch is a great device in its own right, and if apple had never brought out the iphone, it would probably be the best apple portable product ever.

the clip-on feature is really handy as it eliminates a need for a case and makes use easy.
i have used it for audio books watched video clips played games and loaded it up with many songs.
so i've tried to combat the problem by carrying it in my hand, or using a case with a clip, still uncomfortable and the cases were blocky and unappealing.

this is my 6th portable digital music device so far, and i tried to avoid ipods because they always got bad reviews for mal functioning and lacking features.
but what i love is the build in clip that allows you to attach it to any article of clothing.
to work so safety is a concern but it's a great way to zone out during the ride - i simply clip it on and go (it's nice to be able to wear it under my coat so it can't be snatched off of my person).
i like being able to clip it to my shirt or sportsbra and not having a band on my arm.
it's especially great when you are working out because it's light, clips on to your clothes and can hold enough music that your workout playlist won't repeat a song for a while.

this may be a weird review since i ultimately returned this player for an 8gb sansa clip, but it was a tough decision to make.
i wish i could find a clear skin with clip for it.
however as the kings of the world of portable media players, they seem to command the big $$ which i think is outrageous.
