i buy pretty much anything that is supposed to make my life easier (but typically ends up making it harder!) as far as electronics go.
true, not impressive audio but adequate to get you by in the pinch or to make monitoring what's on your ipod that much easier.
i have given it the avarage rating because after the program is loaded makes syncing as easy as windows media player (that is right: people that tell you itunes is easier to use than anything else
i've recently purchased a psp for my son and the ease of adding music, videos, ebooks, adiobooks is so much easier.
so i'm basically using it for the same thing i used my ipod classic for--to listen to music and books--and the classic was much easier to use.

the features that amazed me are:-zune tagging with fm radio songs-wireless download songs over the wireless network-big screen-the scroll wheel (it's actually a lot easier than i thought)-fm radio

there are many upgrades to the software of the newest nano that makes it much easier to navagate through individual songs, albums and bands or groups.

i used an earlier ipod nano with my pioneer 3000ib (ipod direct) with wonderful results; it was much easier to control the ipod through the receiver than with the control face on the ipod.

a few reasons being that a) you can press the buttons to adjust volume in your pocket [the classic relies on luck that you can actually get the touch sensitive wheel to respond through your pants],
i downloaded both the itunes and zune software and found the zune software was easier to use and more organized.

let me tell you this was such a pain in the butt that i finally decided it would be easier to buy a zune and i'm so happy i did.
this product would be even better if there were easier ways to sync multiple apple devices within itunes with one media file.
