I bought a used Samsung YH-820 off of eBay for fairly cheap. The unit worked when I received it,... from Cnet.com I bought this for a gift an wasnt happy at all. Amazon did refund my money in a timley fashion. I just won't buy a remanufatured Samsung audio player due to the poor quality. from Amazon.com This thing is out of date and i cant even get it to be recognized by my computer. Then the tech support from Samsung cant enen help me. Once i got it to transfer songs it was alright but now i cant do it again so i really wish i hadnt bought it so thats how i feel about it. from Amazon.com The MPS player doesn't have a FM receiver but it does say that in the produce description so that wasn't an issue for me as that was a feature I didn't need. The device saves your place at the last song you listen to and with random play initiated you go for quite a while, as long as you have several songs in the player, without repeating a song you heard earlier even with turning it off and turning it back on. This player is a good alternative to the I pod and much cheaper that their 5GB model. The one other drawback is that it only reads MPS files not WMA files but with either Windows Media Player or Musicmatch Jukebox offered by Dell that really isn't a problem. from Amazon.com I highly recomend the YH-820mc to anyone It is easy to use and a great product. from Amazon.com About 2 months after I got it things started to go wrong. It would have a system error for no apparent reason and I couldn't get it to work unless I reset the device. I upgraded the firmware, re-formatted, called samsung and tried every possible solution to get the thing to work again. What a rip off!!! from Amazon.com Mine did freeze up as well, but that is because Wind media player wanted to download everything at once. I might suggest that if you have problems with it freezing there is a reset button on the back that you can push in. You will lose all of your music but it does save the hassle of fighting with samsung to return it.
