I've had my Cowon D2 for a couple weeks, and I love it. I don't have any complaints yet. from Bhphotovideo.com I already knew this was a very popular player with rave reviews from experts but the price in my country, India was out of reach. so i got this ordered to my cousin's place in the US. Earlier i had a Creative Zen 8 Gb which also had a brilliant sound quality but mine became as good as dead because of a problem called 'White screen of death' or WSOD which is a problem with a few batches of Creative Zens. now my brother uses it as a 8 Gb card from Amazon.com I got the case to save some bumps and scratches on my D2, but it does so much more than that. It looks good and is very practical. from Amazon.com This is the best audiobook player. I also have an Ipod 80GB Classic and had a Zen Vision M. It leaves both for dead. from Amazon.com I bought the COWON D2 8GB version 6 months ago after doing extensive search and reading positive on line reviews. It mostly got rave reviews and I have to agree, it is very nice and fits my needs well. from Amazon.com The stylus is not necessary, but I prefer it. Transfers of files is easy under windows, just drag and drop. My experience with Video playback has been a little finicky if the (included) conversion software was not used and set specifically to the D2's suggested settings.
