My goal was to be able to carry my favorite songs with me without having to charge a battery every day. The Sony provides superb sound quality in a tiny and attractive device that will play for 40 to 45 hours before the battery needs charging. from Amazon.com Everything about the Sony Walkman is great EXPECT for the fact that you can not delete files directly off of the player itself -- you can only do that through the PC. So either you are good at sync-ing your files and keeping your library organized, OR you end up doing a lot of micro management. from Amazon.com It's nice, but... I use it mainly for mp3s of radio shows, and talks, and mp4s (like univerity lectures) from iTunes.
