It took a lot of hit and miss before I figured half of it out. I thought it would be easy to download movies to it, NO it wasn't. And the movie selection at Archos website was a joke. It holds a lot of music, but not easy to load music either, especially if you try to follow archos' poorly worded instructions from the website. from Amazon.com So I was looking for a new media player, and I decided I didn't want the same one that everybody and their little dog has too. I wanted one with extra features, and I was willing to pay a little more for it. That's when I saw the Archos IMT's and I was hooked. I decided on the 320 gig IMT 7 because unlike other media players where you might strain your eyes squinting at their wristwatch-sized screen, the Archos 7 is like a holding a movie theater in your hands. from Amazon.com My son worked all summer for the money to buy this Archos 7 320GB. On day 2 it would not charge. from Amazon.com for the record i have had the archos 605 and the 705 and recently have bought the new archos 7 .they all performed about the same the 7 might be a little faster, as it has a faster processor.the screen resolution is better too.the price has come down on these players and i say buy one if had your eyes one one.never experienced any of the major issues described by other users, seems like they are too critical, my only issue was freezing up, fairly rare though, what can you expect these are tiny computers with big features. the 7 will fit in your jeans back pocket.nothing beats archos for internet browsing, movies, web radio, etc.at a small size it cant be beat, with the huge 160 gb(or 250) hard drive you can load lots of movies,pics,music,never a dull moment when you have an archos 7. from Amazon.com
