After being a CD player holdout for the last however many years, I finally decided to get an mp3 player (CD player went missing, and I couldn't find another one like it). In this short period of time, I've had three so far, and this Mozaic is definitely my fave. The funny story is, I'd actually gotten it for my mom, and got a fancy pants little Sony for myself because it had a pretty screen and I thought i'd put videos on mine. from Amazon.com I bought this item as a gift for my wife whose older model Zen was beginning to show signs of age. As someone who has sat waiting for friends as they wandered through the wilds of iTunes (mandatory software for iPods) trying to find where iTunes has put their latest fave (is it under techno or electronica or something else?), I know the value of being able to categorize the music on your hard drive the way you personally prefer (for me, 1GB folders of genre, like "80's 4", and so on). from Amazon.com i love to listen to audible.com books on my zen. i can fit 150 hours of books on it. from Amazon.com I find the Mosaic easy to use after the initial quickstart. The Creative Central program is fast and effective for changing file extensions to something useable, for syncing from your computer, and organizing your files.
