Pros: really, they are NONE unless you think a 2GB HD--only should be $90.00 plus tax. from Shopping.com Pros: The unit was on sale at $89.95 which I thought was cheap for 2GB from Shopping.com APparently, while charging, the unit turns itself on, and there simply wasnt even enough charge for it to power up lugged in. After a minute or two, it was on and charging. After i charged it, i loaded a full 2GB of songs, and its been pumpin it out since. So chill out you losers, grab some kleenex and learn a little patience. from Amazon.com It won't power up. It won't even charge. It's a dud, and Memorex knows it. A lot of companies will send a replacement immediately and request that you then return their item in that box, NOT MEMOREX. from Amazon.com However, after the suggested 12 hour charging time, I disconnected and attempted to turn it on, but nothing happened. I started doing research and saw that this was a common problem. So I downloaded the newest operating system from Memorex and flashed it to the player. Unfortunately nothing changed. from Amazon.com It's been working since (a week now). Overall, the unit is a little slow, and that is with only 500meg loaded. It will function as a USB 2.0 hard drive for any type of content.
